We are headed to a exciting Game 7 between the Toronto Raptors and The Boston Celtics.

The defending champs, Toronto Raptors extend the series against the Boston Celtics to Game 7. Game 6 went to double OT but the Raptors were able to hang on and get the win 125-122. Kyle Lowry was so important tonight making buckets at crucial times. He led the team with 33 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Norman Powell finally broke out of this slump coming up big at the end of the game and in overtime with 23 points off the bench.

Celtics top scorer tonight was Jaylen Brown with 31 points and 16 rebounds, although he did shoot 11/30. Jayson Tatum had 29 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists only 1 shy of a triple double. Kemba Walker didn’t have it going tonight shooting 2/11 and scoring 5 points.

Key Players

Kyle Lowry, how can anybody say this man is not about winning. The heart of a champion and he definitely showed that in tonight’s game. He calms the team down in times where things aren’t going their way and shots aren’t falling. Lowry always comes up with those big plays to get some momentum and get his teammates going. Lowry has been great during a time where the Raptors all star Pascal Siakam has been under performing. Hopefully Siakam can snap out of this funk and find his rhythm in Game 7.

Norman Powell aka The Real Playoff P, finally broke out of this slump tonight with a big performance to help push this series to a Game 7. A lot of fans were wondering when Powell was going to come out and play like we all know he could.

OG Anunoby had 13 points and 13 rebounds. Raptors went small to end regulation and kept the line the same way in both overtime quarters. OG was the primary defender of Daniel Theis and he did a great job boxing out and coming up with rebounds throughout the end of the game. He also was involved in 3 jump balls in overtime and won all 3 of them. Big time performance for OG Anunoby.

Marc Gasol made his first 3-pointer of the series. This finally got him going and was able to make another 3 followed by a baseline jumper. He finished the game with 8 points but it was nice to see him finally make a jump shot after bricking shots for the past 5 games. Hopefully this performance can get him going in Game 7.

Pascal Siakam had 12 points on 5/19 shooting. He just can’t seem to get his offense going against this Boston Celtics team. The Celtics are playing great defense on Siakam especially when he is being guarded by Jaylen Brown.
